Update (on dates off dates mid dates... whatever)

Hey guys,
Well, the date with the bass player wasn't half bad. We met for coffee at mugs between my classes (that way I had an escape route in case he was an axe murderer). I was late....of course but I figure its best if they get used to that early don't you think? It may not be mad violent love at first site but then again who really wants that? Then you wind up in a relationship with someone that you think hung the moon and all the while wonder why you're feeling unfulfilled. But anyway, enough of my personal psychosis. He seems very nice. Dark hair light eyes and sideburns so we all know he meets my qualifications for attractive. We didn't make any plans to meet again but then again it seemed to go well and I was running off to class at mach 10.
I'm watching Gov. Arnold on Bill O'Riley. That just makes me happy. I still just want him to break out into cheesey terminator lines. He may be cutting the budget left and right but I think he's doing a very good job. I know its bad when a social worker is saying this but sometimes, you just have to go back to basics untill you know what you can afford and I think that California's situation is one of those. Honestly, if California were a person, it's credit would be worse than mine (and that's saying something I think). Not such a fan of Bill's new habit of saying "enjoy your kool-aide" though, it's just kind of stupid...seems a little bit childish and beneath him.
So seeing how my cold turkey turned out a little on the smokey side, we're trying this again. This time, Jason and I are quitting together and we have a wager. If he breaks down and smokes before I do, he has to give away his comic book collection that he's had since he was 8. If I smoke before he does, I have to become a vegitarian for a full year. I know this doesn't sound nearly as drastic, but one has to understand the eating habits of my family to fully understand the sacrifice. That basically means no comfort food, no BBQ, no French Chicken, No Holliday meals for a whole year.... that and food is very important to me its one of the few things that's always there (unless of course you're in samalia or something but I'm very untraveled). Wish me luck as it starts tomarrow.
Take Care,
<3katie
