Tori, Junction and finally a promising date

I just got back from seeing the Tori Amos Concert. It was fabulous. Even if you don't like her music, the amount of talent it takes to pull off one of her concerts is amazing. She has been playing the piano since she was two and it clearly shows that she was a child protegy.
Matt E and I left junction around 8 and putsed around taste of colorado for a few hours before meeting up with Brent, Jason, and Loren. After exploring Denver (and by exploring, I mean walking, driving and practically hiking to this remote deli that loren insisted we go to) we finally got some dinner.
Then came the Tori Concert. Full day.
As for the promising date, I'm happy to report I finally had a decent date. Last Friday, the sandy haired gentleman asked me where my favorite sushi place was. We met at Suhiro's around 7 but there was a 40 minute wait so we dashed across the street to Eliot's (my favorite martini bar) to wait it out. Amazingly, even though he is an engineer, the conversation flowed easily and by the time we were eating sushi he was telling me all about this "Details" article he read about 'the best way to eat sushi' it was adorable. A nice walk around old town and a beer at the crown pub took us to about midnight. He drove me home and actually walked me to my door. I can hardly remember the last time that happend. Unfortionately, Junction interfered with this weekend's plans but we're supposed to get together this week. (mabye tomarrow) Wish me luck I kind of like this one. But if not, there's always Tori and another day.
