My First Stock Show

Hey there everyone,
Last night I went to my first stock show in Denver. Shane scored us some judging badges and a parking pass so it was free to boot! My friend april was competing in the professional reigning category for the first time. This is a picture of her and the horse she was showing.
There were also a fair amount of exibits and vendors. There was the John Deere showroom, cute sleeping piggies, and the obligitory cut out picture stop.


We had to stay well past midnight to see April actually compete but overall it was a very good time. Besides, I feel like a real local ;o) <3 katie

Hey there everyone,
Well I'm safe and sound back in the fort. Matt's car caught fire (broken waterpump) so we had to delay our getting back for an extra day. While matt changed out his waterpump (that's sealant takes 24hrs to cure...we were cutting it a little close) Brent taught me how to do an oil change (this is about the third time though so I pretty much could do it on my own so I was rediculously proud)
The day after Christmas, a bunch of us went to Narion's, the Nepalese resteraunt in Junciton. I love that place! He remembers everyone and what we like to order. Tom was back from the marines too. Here's a picture of the lunch (taken with the digital camera I got for christmas :o)
